Market Review August 2016 (covering July)

Stimulating Times? July was a positive month for investors, as stock markets largely reversed their initial post-Brexit weakness with a global relief rally. The FTSE 100 was up some 3.4% over the month, and pleasingly the more domestically orientated FTSE 250 finished up around 6.2%. Elsewhere the S&P 500 was up some 3.6% and major European shares concluded the month some 3.8% higher.
